Video Production

My path to filmmaking began in photography, but I quickly discovered something different in the moving image. A photograph freezes a moment. A film unfolds one. It was my love for the moving image that drew me to study film at CalArts and subsequently spend 16 years working in production in Los Angeles. Today, my video production services focus on documentary and healthcare storytelling.

What I love about this work is the process of discovery. Every project begins with listening—to clients, to subjects, to the story that wants to emerge. From there, I shape a narrative that serves both the message and the people at its center. This approach takes patience, and it yields films that resonate long after they end.

Most of my video production services involve organizations working in healthcare, social impact, or cultural documentation. These clients come to me because they need more than a polished product. They need a film that builds trust with audiences and moves them to understanding or action. That requires craft and genuine care for the subject matter.

The portfolio above represents a range of this work. Each project presented its own challenges and rewards. Together, they reflect what I believe documentary storytelling can accomplish when it puts people first.
